Seema Srivastava

Mrs. Seema Srivastava has been a visiting faculty in several art and design colleges in New Delhi. With over 19 years of teaching experience, she shared with us her views on truck art as an observer rather than a professor. But it was quite evident that the years of teaching experience and studying about the art form had shaped her views in a more refined way, than that of a mere observer. Her interview helped us with the classification of the symbols from not just the academic viewpoint but also from the viewpoint of a person who is highly interested in the art and culture of India. Her interview was extremely helpful, thanks to her observations and explanations.
